Head of Compliance, MLRO – London UK, remote

General Description and Responsibilities

The Head of Compliance will be primarily responsible for overseeing compliance within the Company and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.


As the compliance leader and subject matter expert, the Head of Compliance will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the Company are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.


The Head of Compliance has to provide reasonable assurance to the Board that there are effective and efficient policies and procedures in place, well understood and respected by all employees, and that the company is complying with all regulatory requirements.


The Head of Compliance will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and must inform the Board about important issues and material violations.

Head of Compliance’s specific responsibilities:

 

  • Will be the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the Company and the responsibilities associated with that role; specifically:
  • ensuring that, when appropriate, the information or other matter leading to knowledge or suspicion, or reasonable grounds for knowledge or suspicion of money laundering is properly disclosed to the relevant authority;
  • liaising with appropriate law enforcement agencies on the issue of whether t proceed with a transaction or what information may be disclosed to clients or third parties
  • responsible for the design and implementation of internal anti-money laundering systems and procedures
  • Training with regards to Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime

 

Other Head of Compliance responsibilities include:

 

  • Defining the necessary level of knowledge on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements across the organization.
  • Developing the annual compliance work plan that reflects the organization’s unique characteristics.
  • Periodically revising the compliance plan in light of changes.
  • Guiding in a productive, professional way, the compliance team.
  • Developing, overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance programme
  • Providing guidance, advice, and/or training and educational programs, to improve the Company’s understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing strategic direction to the Board/Management Team on compliance.
  • Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the Board.
  • Interacting with regulators on compliance issues.
  • Coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations.
  • Developing policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties, without fear of retaliation.
  • Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of departments.
  • Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance.
  • Monitoring external review processes.
  • Assisting with enhanced due diligence and AML transaction monitoring

Chief Marketing Officer, CMO

The Role

As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Finadvant, you will report directly to our CEO and join as the newest member of our Management Team. You will build and lead a team to drive our marketing strategy in the short, medium and long-term, playing a critical role in Finadvant’s expansion.

Activities

As Finadvant first CMO, this role will be both strategic and hands on, taking ownership of all the areas within marketing. Role/responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Define and implement the company’s long-term marketing and communication strategy.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for expanding the UK market and new product launches.
  • Build, manage and oversee a motivated and high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage the marketing budget and capacity planning within the team.
  • Rebrand Finadvant branding and story.
  • Utilise technology, digital expertise and data to promote innovation and uphold robust marketing capability, ensuring Finadvant can lead our customer’s experience.
  • Ensure Finadvant message is distributed consistently to our target audience through world-class content and campaign creation, increasing inbound leads and revenue generation.

Key Performance Indicators

We’re looking for a marketing leader who has experience growing high-performing marketing teams within a start-up or scale-up environment. The ideal candidate would have worked in fintech companies who sell directly to the B2B market, ideally the SME market segment. We’re looking for an experienced CMO with a breadth of experience across all areas of marketing who can confidently build and own Finadvant long term marketing strategy.

Experience

  • Operated at CMO level for a FinTech/IT company, through a period of significant growth (ideally start-up, pre series A funding)

  • International marketing experience, hands on exposure to building and executing marketing strategies across different markets.
  • Experience transforming a brand to fit a global audience.
  • Have managed and grown a distributed (remote) marketing team.
  • Have a personal brand within the IT/fintech space and a keen interest in representing Finadvant on social media, across events etc.

Chief Product Officer, CPO

The Role

As Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Finadvant, you will report directly to our CEO and join as the newest member of our Management Team. You will build and lead a team to drive our product development strategy in the short, medium and long-term, playing a critical role in Finadvant expansion.

Activities

  • Own the Finadvant product vision – build customer-centric experiences, delightful product features, and a clear roadmap to drive mass product adoption
  • Develop product vision, experience and roadmap
  • Lead the strategic planning and prioritisation of product capital spend against budget
  • Shape the overall group product strategy with the leadership team from a customer-lead perspective.
  • Balance long-term strategy vs. short-term commercial pressures.
  • Create a fit-for-growth Product Management team and structure.
  • Full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle between you and your team.
  • Coordinate deep user-research to identify needs and new opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators

We’re looking for a Product leader who has experience growing high-performing Product teams within a start-up or scale-up environment. The ideal candidate would have worked in fintech/payment companies who sell directly to the B2B market, ideally the SME market segment. We’re looking for an experienced CPO with a breadth of experience across all areas of product development who can confidently build and own Finadvant long term product development and implementation strategy.

Competencies

Own and execute the product portfolio and deployment to market through working collaboratively with cross functional team members. Manage, measure and report on the required quality, scope, budget and outcomes of product delivery, to the appropriate stakeholders. Ensure overall product portfolio risks and dependencies are clearly managed and communicated.

Experience

Extensive experience with product management, agile development, product launches, scaling, and change management, especially within the FinTech/Payments space

  • A track record in setting clear direction and driving high levels of engagement and performance across multidisciplinary teams
  • Leadership experience in communicating product expectations at the executive level
  • Ability to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication
  • Entrepreneurial, curious and highly proactive behaviours are essential

The Role

Manual QA Engineer

The Role

As a Manual QA Engineer, you will bring a true passion for ensuring stability of software. You will test and document the best possible internet banking solutions for the B2B market. You will test customer facing apps, backo-office sites, and headless serverless applications.

As a financial organization we put stability and reliability of our software solutions as a top priority. So you will be driving continuous improvement on making our software systems as stable as possible.

Activities

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
